...and I don’t seem to have a lot of words this morning except to thank you all for your kind compliments about the bag and shawl. I appreciate them very much,
However, I do have a picture!

Someday that tail’s going to become a yarn over!

shawl looks lovely, you look most content, and jade looks absolutely determined- there is just no way to ignore a cat who wants attention is there?
stay happy-
Barb - And I have never met a more determined cat than this one! I love her to death but she can be a challenge :)
I miss my tabby cat and my son’s all black cat. Both were very affectionate. They always wanted to be part of my work. My tabby would lay on his back in my lap and watch my knitting from the underside. He didn’t bother the yarn or needles, unless they paused for a momemnt, then he would tap my hands. I am catless now.
Chery - Sorry to hear of your catless state. Jade can be a right, royal pain, but she can be - and often is - sweet and affectionate. Not to mention being a super hand-warmer :)
All of my guys have been accidentally knit into something at some point. Especially my beagle who “becomes one with” the sofa and your lap. You forget he’s there until you’re like, “God, this part of the skein looks a lot like whiskers”.
LOL!! Laura, you crack me up - what a picture, knitting the beagle’s whiskers into whatever you’re doing. I suppose if you were woring with one of those novelty eyelash yarns, you might never notice!!
You made my mornign with the yarn over comment…lol. Great picture. That shawl is going to be stunning.
Maureen - The shawl’s a fun project. I would certainly recommend it to anyone considering something lacy!
