Anonymous yarn
Do you know me?
If any of you have any idea what this might be, drop me a line? Curiosity won’t kill me, and I’ll eventually use it anyway - if for no other reason than to see how it works up - but it would be nice to know its name.
The Gold Critter
He’s finally beginning to relax, thank goodness. Due to some Siamese in his background, he’s always been a talker but after Fluffy left us on Sunday, Goldie went silent. He also wandered around the apartment, over and over, poking into closets and looking in corners and under furniture for his father. He’s getting back to normal now, beginning to talk again and not obviously searching any more.
We both wish you all a happy and safe holiday weekend - and for those of you outside the states, the same except for the holiday :)

Hi Robbyn:
I’m just catching up on my blog reading and I’m terribly sorry to hear about Fluffy’s passing last Sunday. My heart aches for you.
-Cheryl.
Hi Cheryl - I know you very recently went through this with your Bob. The little guys make awfully big holes when they leave, don’t they? Hope your grief is easing.
umm, don’t recognize the yarn but using it would certainly make anything you made from it ‘shadow knitting’ - i’m imagining any of the vivian hoxbro shadow patterns made from it and think that might be optical overload but interesting anyway- can’t wait to see what you do with it-
Thanks for your thoughts Barb. I’m really curious myself, to see what it does!
Curious yarn - I’ve absolutely no idea what it is. That’s a really beautiful photo of Goldie, what a gorgeous face :)
Thanks Pam :) I love taking pictures of animals because they aren’t self-conscious. Of course, Goldie is an exception there. I have the feeling that he thinks the camera is evil :)
I just found your blog through Bron’s Blog II. I am so sorry to read about the loss of your dear kitty. I know how much it hurts. Lavish all the love you can on Goldie, you both need it!
Lisa - Thank you for your very kind thought. We are spoiling him a bit and we’re trying to figure out if we should look for another cat or kitten - since Goldie has had a feline companion all his life. We don’t want him to be lonely.
